During this challenging time, healthy little bodies and minds are at the heart of how we are steering our program. We are committed to staying true to our early learning philosophy while taking the precautions needed for the safety and well-being of our children and staff. We are closely following the CDC and State guidelines for early learning programs and have modified every aspect of our daily routines to ensure that they are COVID-ready.
In addition to keeping children physically safe during the pandemic, our response plan also prioritizes the need to support children's social and emotional health. It is crucial that during these times of change and uncertainty we care for the well-being of children by providing an environment where they can feel physically and emotionally safe. Responding to children’s social-emotional needs, as well as providing opportunities for social and emotional learning in the classroom is at the forefront of our approach. Now, more than ever, social and emotional connectedness is essential in the lives of young children, and it is our mission to continue cultivating a healthy and happy environment for children to thrive, both academically and emotionally.
