Our "little caterpillars" develop milestones in communication, self-help, and self-regulation skills in a warm, loving, and fun environment. Small and large group multi-sensory experiences are carefully planned to help children actualize their potential. Our toddlers and twos classroom is designed for little learners on the move and includes ample opportunity and space for building, creating, and exploring.
Pre-k children work in a setting that encourages investigation and promotes high-order thinking. Our preschool program focuses on helping children build the social-emotional and deep thinking needed for school readiness. Real-world topics are used in project work to create meaningful learning experiences to build knowledge and teach children to be successful members of their community and school.
Our classroom schedules are structured and predictable to support children in their exploration and play. Children encounter the following experiences throughout their day:
Circle Time: A time to develop a sense of community with songs, books, and whole-group activities
Center Time: Children engage with purposefully laid out materials and toys.
Small-Group: Students meet with a teacher in small differentiated groups to work on a target goal or skill.
Experience Time: Investigation and exploration based on students' interests.
Outdoor & Large Motor Play: Music & movement, cooperative games, and interaction in nature and the outdoors.
Meal Times: Wholesome homemade meals made with fresh fruits and vegetables
Nap Time: A two-hour rest time that is fundamental to the cognitive growth and the emotional well-being of every child.
